Anthropology Graduate Students Zac Hubbell and Mary Beth Cole recieve awards at AAPA meetings

Congratulations go to Zac Hubbell and Mary Beth Cole for their poster presentations given at the 2015 annual meetings of the American Association of Physical Anthropologists, held in St. Louis, Missouri.  Zac Hubbell (co-authors: J.H. Gosman and T.M. Ryan) received the American Anatomical Association and American Anthropological Association’s Anthropology Student Poster Award for his  "Age-Related Trends in Human Trabecular Bone Connectivity at the Cortical-Trabecular Interface in the Proximal Tibia Metaphysis."  Mary Beth Cole (co-author: S.D. Stout), received the Mildred Trotter Prize, an award given  for a superior presentation on bones and teeth, for her “A Semi-Automatic Method for Intracortical Porosity Quantification with Application to Intraskeletal Variability.”  These are two awards of only seven prizes for outstanding  science and the presentation thereof given annually at these meetings.
