Richard Moore elected as Senior Fellow of the National Council for Science and the Environment (NCSE)

Richard Moore, Emeritus Professor of the School of Environment and Natural Resources and adjunct Department of Anthropology faculty member, was elected as Senior Fellow of the National Council for Science and the Environment (NCSE).  NCSE is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to improving the scientific basis for environmental decision making.  NCSE specializes in programs that foster collaboration between the diverse institutions and individuals creating and using environmental knowledge, including research, education, environmental, and business organizations as well as governmental bodies at all levels.  Dr. Moore was the OSU institutional representative to NCSE when he was executive director of the OSU Environmental Sciences Network. He also served on the executive committee for the Council for Environmental Deans and Directors (CEDD) which is the primary NCSE association of over 170 affiliate universities and colleges.
