ANTHROP 3604: Intro to the Methods of Archaeological Science

Introduces students to the myriad of interdisciplinary techniques that allow us to understand the human condition. Reviewed methods and case studies include ancient DNA analysis, stable and radiogenic isotopes, zooarchaeology, paleoethnobotany, material science, remote sensing, etc. This course is taught at an introductory level for non-science majors. Anthrop 2201 is suggested.
