Dr. Jeff McKee won an Emmy Award for the training film, “Surviving an Active Shooter.” In recognition of his role in its production here at the Ohio State University – he initiated, outlined, and nurtured the project for safety training of our students, faculty, and staff – the film was awarded an Emmy for outstanding achievement in the category of “Short Format Program – Informational” at the 52nd annual National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences regional Ohio Valley Chapter awards ceremony.
