Congratulations doctoral candidate Madelyn Green for being awarded one of the Graduate School’s 2022-2023 Alumni Grants for Graduate Research and Scholarship! This award provides small grants up to $5,000 to support the research and scholarship of doctoral or terminal master’s degree candidates for their dissertations or theses.

Madee will travel to Japan in January to collect data from Jōmon archaeological materials and individuals to better understand evolutionary relationships among the Jōmon and the feedback loop between biology, culture, and environment.
