On “Walking, Talking, and Tasting with Winegrowers in Central Ohio and Eastern France”
PhD candidate Mark Anthony Arceño was recently featured on the Society for Applied Anthropology's blog to discuss the relationships between food, place, and identity. Over the past two years, he has been learning how winegrowers in Central Ohio and Alsace, France are making sense of changes in their vineyards, wine cellars, and tasting rooms. Using an ethnographic approach, while paying special attention to the role of the senses, he explores the taste of the places that he has visited throughout his research.
