Undergraduate Mentoring

The Undergraduate Anthropology Mentorship Program (UAMP) pairs undergraduate anthropology majors and minors with a graduate student mentor. Through their mentor, undergraduate students can obtain help selecting courses, investigating career options after graduation, locating and applying to graduate schools, creating CVs or cover letters, finding field and/or research experiences, or simply gaining more knowledge about the field of anthropology.

Prospective mentees should complete the form below. The graduate student representatives will then pair you with a mentor who shares your interests. Once you are assigned a mentor, you should send them an e-mail to schedule your first meeting. Once you meet with your mentor you can determine if and when further meetings would be beneficial to you, or to simply keep your mentor as a contact should you need their guidance in the future.
