Ohio State is in the process of revising websites and program materials to accurately reflect compliance with the law. While this work occurs, language referencing protected class status or other activities prohibited by Ohio Senate Bill 1 may still appear in some places. However, all programs and activities are being administered in compliance with federal and state law.

Current Graduate Students

Students can find all the information about the graduate program and degrees in the Departmental Graduate Handbook, which sets the requirements and regulations for the completion of all degrees, and all students must be aware of its content. Important information in the handbook includes: when and how to establish examination committees; what coursework is required; how and when to schedule the PhD candidacy examinations; and how and when to schedule a final PhD oral examination.

The graduate handbook also contains all the required departmental forms. Other important information can be found in the Graduate School Handbook and all the forms from the graduate school can be found in GradForms, both of which can be requested via email from Sarah Palazzo at palazzo.66@osu.edu.

*The graduate handbook is currently under review to insure compliance with SB1.
