Ohio State is in the process of revising websites and program materials to accurately reflect compliance with the law. Facilities

Facilities are available for research projects in prehistoric archaeology by students and faculty. Recent and ongoing studies include technological and functional analysis of stone tools and ceramics from sites in Hungary, Israel, and the USA (including microwear analysis); the identification and analysis of animal remains from sites in Albania, Hungary, and the USA, preparation of human and animal bone and teeth samples for Stable Isotope analysis; paleoenvironmental analyses of soil and sediment samples; and spatial analysis of cultural remains from sites in SE Europe and the USA. Arrangements with the Field Museum of Natural History, Chicago provide opportunities for additional material culture studies.
