Dara is a biological anthropologist who specializes in primate behavior and communication. Her research focuses on predator-prey interactions between Neotropical primates and their felid and avian predators in the Peruvian Amazon. She uses a combination of behavioral and experimental methods to examine how saki and titi monkeys assess and respond to predation risk.
