Rachael received her B.S. In Anthropology from the University of La Verne, and M.S in Integrative Anatomical Sciences from the Keck School of Medicine at the University of Southern California. Along with earning her degrees, Rachael volunteered at the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner's office, where she gained practical experience with nearly 50 forensic anthropology cases working under Dr. Ellen Fricano, D-AFBA. At USC, she was a teacher's assistant for the gross anatomy dissection lab where she helped guide medical students through their labs. Now, Rachael assists with Dr. Nicholas Passalacqua's Forensic Anthropology Services and Training (FACTS) lab with forensic anthropology casework, educational workshops for law enforcement, and inventorying a recently acquired skeletal collection with undergraduate students. Her research interests involve evaluating expertise in forensic anthropology on a practical level through 3D printing applications.
