Rachael received her B.S. In Anthropology from the University of La Verne in 2018. After an internship with the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Coroner, she earned an M.S. in Integrative Anatomical Sciences from the Keck School of Medicine at the University of Southern California. There, she was a teacher's assistant for the medical school's gross anatomy dissection lab. She is interested in improving forensic anthropology methods through ethical data collection and analysis of under-studied human populations. She works under Dr. Nicholas Passalacqua in the Smith lab.
