Lawrence Mukusha is an archaeologist with research interests in early human origins and prehistory. His archaeological research has focused mainly on Southern Africa and North America’s precontact period. His current research seeks to further broaden our understanding of the Early Stone Age of Southern Africa, paying particular attention to the interaction between hominid populations and their environment. To achieve this, he uses experimental, lithic microwear and archaeobotanical approaches.
