Abigail is a graduate student in anthropology whose work centers on community engagement in archaeological research. Before joining OSU, she worked professionally as an archaeologist, contributing to field projects, lab analysis, and museum collections work. Her current research explores collaborative methodologies, ethical stewardship of material culture, and partnerships with descendant and Indigenous communities. In addition to her dissertation work, she is involved in projects examining the impact of NAGPRA on anthropology, archaeology, and museum practice, with a focus on how repatriation reshapes relationships, research priorities, and institutional responsibilities.
