Humans are embedded in complex webs of social and ecological interactions. The nature of these interactions has implications on the well-being of human and nonhuman populations as well as the structure and function of ecosystems. Drawing on theoretical frameworks from anthropology and ecology, my research focuses on the position of humans in these social and ecological networks.
