The minor in anthropology with an emphasis on archaeology introduces students to the scientific study of material remains of past peoples and cultures. The minor requires 15 credit hours in anthropology.
Students must take ANT 2201 and ANT 3401 and at least two other Archaeology courses. The remaining credit hours may consist of an anthropology course from any subfield (archaeology, cultural or biological) provided it is approved by the undergraduate faculty advisor, Dr. Debbie Guatelli-Steinberg. Additional Hours The remaining credit hours may be chosen from the above category or any other anthropology course with the faculty advisor's permission. *Students taking 4597.03H must be in Honors program or receive permission of instructor.
