Alumni Annika Doneghy Receives a National Science Foundation Doctoral Dissertation Research Improvement Grant

Anthropology alumni Annika Doneghy received a National Science Foundation Doctoral Dissertation Research Improvement Grant in Cultural Anthropology!  

Annika is a dull degree MPH/PhD student at Case Western Reserve University and graduated from OSU in 2019 with their degree in Anthropological Sciences. Annika attributes part of her passion for, and continued pursuit of, anthropological research to Dr. Cohen, who acted as a mentored throughout their anthropological journey. Annika will start thier dissertation research in July and will be studying how disability is perceived and conceptualized in Eastern North Carolina among individuals facing repeated disasters.
