Kaita Gurian Two Publications
PhD student Kaita Gurian has two recent publications!
The first is Relating metric crown dimensions to underlying internal daily secretion rates in antimeric premolars, co-authored with colleagues in the UK and Libya, including OSU PhD graduate Mackie O'Hara!
This piece seeks to understand metric differences in antimeric tooth pairs, which is an important question for understanding dental variation.
The second is Differences in maxillary premolar form between Cercocebus and Lophocebus, co-authored with OSU Professors Debbie Guatelli-Steinberg and Scott McGraw. This piece focuses on the difference in the premolar of two monkey species: the sooty mangabey (Cercocebus atys) and the grey-cheeked mangabey (Lophocebus albigena).
