Undergraduate Certificate in Wicked Science
The Wicked Science Undergraduate Certificate is a groundbreaking interdisciplinary program designed to equip students with the skills and knowledge to tackle complex, real-world challenges.
Overview
For Undergraduate Certificate, the curriculum consists of five courses for a total of at least 12 credits.
Two of the courses are cross-listed across multiple departments, which allows students from any department to complete the interdisciplinary specialization or the certificate.
This innovative certificate consists of five courses, including one elective.
The program welcomes students from diverse academic backgrounds, fostering collaboration, and diverse perspectives.
Flexibility is a cornerstone of the program, allowing students to complete the certificate in 1 to 4 years.
While courses can be taken in any order, the capstone course 5515: Careers for Wicked Scientists, serves as the culmination of the program and must be taken after completing of the other courses.
The program sheet lists all the required and recommended courses and provides guidelines for completion of the certificate.
To assist students in planning their academic journey, an advising sheet is available, offering guidance and support throughout the program.
Join us as we embark on a journey of exploration and innovation with the Wicked Science Undergraduate Certificate at The Ohio State University.
